Message From Dean — Dr. Paresh P Golwala
At the outset I express my good wishes to all for the year 2021 to stay safe and healthy. All of us have witnessed the COVID-19 pandemic last year, which is unfortunately still ongoing. COVID-19 Pandemic has not only affected the world but also the education system. Let us hope with each passing day we revert back to normal times.
The college has passed through turbulences during past and now has attained stability. Our college has already got the state of art facilities for excellence in education. We have postgraduate degree M.D./M.S. courses in 19 specialties of which all are recognized by MCI. We also have Super specialty D.M. /M.Ch. courses in 5 branches of which all are recognized by MCI.
The goal of a medical college is to produce a basic doctor who can understand and try to solve the problems of community, the downtrodden and disadvantaged people who have poor access to health and medical services. All departments of the college strive hard to make the students community oriented to this needs of the society. The Medical students should also understand the judicious use of public fund in their training and should also be responsible to the society.
Our faculties teach the students on Evidence Based Education System (EBES) and thereby inculcating the habit of Evidence Based Medicine Practice in all students. This will benefit the society at large.
As our college has been located in rural area, it is our vision to uphold the cherished objectives of producing doctors of first contact. We Hope that our college will set a tradition in medical education and would show a new path to others in future.
