MBBS / BDS Admission 2021-22: Outline of Admission Process
- All the admissions in the M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. programs at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University will be done through a counseling scheme laid down by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India (Visit: https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/)
- Any candidate desirous of seeking admission to the B.B.S. / B.D.S. programs at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University shall meet the eligibility criteria laid down by Medical Council of India (MCI) /Dental Council of India (DCI) / DGHS, MCC.
- The outline of Counseling scheme for admission in Sumandeep Vidyapeeth is as under:
- Registration by the Candidate on mcc.nic.in
- Online Payment of Registration Charges & Security Deposit (for DEEMED University Category) by Candidate to MCC, Govt. of India
- Choice filling by Candidate
- Result: Seat Allotted / Seat Not Allotted by MCC
- If Seat Allotted then: Reporting to the allotted Institute by the Candidate within stipulated time for:
- Verification of Documents
- Payment of Educational Fees
- Generation of ADMISSION LETTER
- If the Seat is Not Allotted, then again Choice Filling by candidate for Subsequent Rounds

a) SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the format as specified by Medical Counseling committee) and should be in English or Hindi language. Sub-caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. b) OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. The OBC certificate must be in the format as specified by Medical Counseling committee. c) Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board for 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disability Act, 2016. No other PwD certificate, issued by any other authorities/ Hospital will be entertained. The format of Certificate of Disability shall be as specified by Medical Counseling committee. |
