De-Addiction campaign held at DGH for people from slums.

A De-addiction camp was organized at DGH by charity group 'HANDS OF BROTHERS' Founded BY ASHLESH BHAVSAR who joined hands with department of psychiatry lead by DR.LAKHAN KATARIA and his team for needy people suffering from alcohol dependence from the nearby slum areas. They were motivated and brought to DGH BY the group and were thoroughly made aware about the complications of alcoholism. After appropriate investigations they were prescribed medications for treating alcohol dependence and were told about the benefits of rehabilitation on them and their families.this has been marked as a positive step for serving the community. One alcoholic affects the life of five of his family members.treating twenty of such people would benefit the lives of hundreds around them. They are looking forward into organizing more of such campaigns for the benefit of the society.
